A multi-tenant business intelligence SaaS that transforms connected business data into actionable dashboards, automated insights, forecasts, alerts, and scheduled reports.
NEXORA is a business intelligence SaaS platform that helps organizations understand their business performance through connected data, interactive dashboards, analytics, automated insights, forecasts, and alerts.
The platform is organized into a public marketing website, customer workspace, and admin console. Customers can review key performance indicators, analyze revenue and customer trends, generate reports, manage data sources, and configure alerts. Platform administrators manage users, subscriptions, content, support, permissions, and system settings through a dedicated console.
Business data is often spread across multiple systems, making it difficult for teams to maintain a consistent view of revenue, customers, sales, and marketing performance. Static dashboards or disconnected reporting workflows can also make it harder to identify important changes, monitor unusual metrics, and receive timely updates.
The challenge was to turn a static frontend concept into a multi-user platform with live data workflows, centralized reporting, automated insights, and controlled access for different users and workspaces.
I rebuilt the business intelligence product as a Laravel 12 application with custom authentication, role-based access, customer workspaces, an admin console, and database-backed analytics workflows.
The platform supports business metric tracking, dashboard reporting, scheduled insights, forecasts, alerts, report exports, and subscription management. A service-based architecture separates reporting and dashboard logic from controllers, while queued jobs handle data synchronization, reports, exports, notifications, and other background tasks.
This creates a structured foundation for businesses to monitor performance and for platform administrators to manage customers, billing, content, and system operations.
NEXORA follows a layered Laravel architecture where requests move through routes, middleware, controllers, services, models, and database operations before reaching Blade views. Custom middleware handles authentication, account status, two-factor verification, roles, permissions, subscriptions, feature flags, and localization.
Business logic for metrics, dashboards, billing, and reporting is organized in dedicated services. Analytics data is stored in a central metric values workflow, from which dashboard series, insights, forecasts, and alert evaluations are generated. Queue jobs and scheduled tasks handle synchronization, reporting, notifications, and other time-consuming operations outside the main request cycle.
The platform separates public marketing pages, customer account routes, admin routes, and token-based API endpoints into dedicated areas.
The main challenge was reproducing the original frontend design while replacing hard-coded content with live application data and interconnected workflows. The system also required a consistent architecture for multi-user access, workspace isolation, analytics processing, and administration.
Additional implementation considerations included separating background work from web requests, handling scheduled insights and forecasts, maintaining permission boundaries across roles, and supporting billing, reporting, and notification workflows within a single SaaS application.
