An adaptive multi-industry POS and business management SaaS for sales, inventory, purchasing, payments, analytics, and AI-assisted business operations.
Solvexa is an adaptive POS and business management SaaS platform designed to support businesses across retail, grocery, pharmacy, electronics, garments, restaurants, wholesale, and service industries.
Instead of requiring a separate application for every business category, the platform adapts terminology, product workflows, and industry-specific modules according to the selected business type.
The system brings point-of-sale operations, inventory management, purchasing, customer relationships, payments, analytics, reporting, and platform administration into one connected business environment.
Businesses across different industries often need different workflows for sales, inventory, purchasing, payments, and daily operations. A generic POS system may not adequately support industry-specific requirements such as pharmacy expiry tracking, restaurant table management, electronics IMEI tracking, or garment product variants.
Businesses also need reliable stock records, controlled discounts, payment reconciliation, reporting, and role-specific access. Managing these processes across disconnected tools can make operations harder to monitor and maintain.
The challenge was to build a flexible business platform that could support multiple industries without requiring a completely separate application for every business type.
I developed Solvexa as a configurable POS and business management SaaS with an adaptive industry mode, allowing the platform to adjust business terminology and workflows based on the selected industry.
The solution combines barcode-first checkout, hold and resume carts, split payments, credit sales, inventory tracking, warehouse transfers, purchasing approvals, customer management, payment processing, reporting, and configurable business rules.
The platform also includes role-based permissions, server-side authorization, tenant-aware data isolation, background processing, and a SaaS Control Center for managing business accounts and platform settings. An AI Business Copilot provides rules-based assistance and can use Claude for enhanced responses when an API key is configured.
Solvexa follows a multi-tenant, service-oriented Laravel architecture. Business operations are separated into application services, while controllers, middleware, models, and queued jobs support the different platform areas.
The system uses tenant-aware data access and branch-scoped authorization to protect business records. Financial and inventory operations are supported by database transactions, row-level locks, server-side price validation, an auditable stock ledger, and idempotent checkout and payment webhook handling.
Laravel queues and scheduled tasks handle background workflows such as synchronization, reports, exports, alerts, and maintenance. Redis is used for caching and queue processing, while Laravel Sanctum supports API authentication.
The main challenge was designing a single platform that could support different industries while preserving consistent financial, inventory, and authorization rules.
The system required configurable industry workflows, tenant-aware data access, reliable stock movement tracking, and secure transaction handling. Additional considerations included purchase approvals, payment webhooks, refunds, role-based permissions, and background jobs for reports and notifications.
The architecture needed to keep business rules enforced on the server rather than depending only on frontend controls, especially for discounts, stock adjustments, refunds, and financial operations.
